Training Programme Director - Allergy/Immunology

The Training Programme Director in Allergy/Immunology will play a key role in supporting the Head of School in the strategic development of the School of Medicine. The post holder will lead on the development of the School's Recruitment and Retention Strategy and contribute to supporting the School Operational Programme. The post holder will be a member of the School Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support training and recruitment and retention of ACLI and ACI Trainees.
  • Work with trainees and trainers to develop placements in the region to reliably ensure the curriculum needs of trainees in ACLI and ACI are met.
  • Support local trainers with their development as trainers.
  • Deliver regional education programs for trainees as well as working with colleagues across the region to unlock training opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Education Qualification such as Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Masters in Medical Education.
  • Ability to rapidly establish academic credibility.
  • Experience of organising / delivering education programmes / courses.
  • Understanding of the workforce transformation agenda.
  • Experience in recruitment.
  • Trained and experienced in recruitment, selection and Equality and Diversity in the last 3 years.
