About the Role

We are looking for a talented pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust, providing clinical pharmacy services in an in-patient mental health setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Overview

The post involves working closely with in-patient wards and community clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing a patient-focused clinical pharmacy service, including pharmaceutical care planning and clinical review of prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy input to in-patient mental health services
  • Undertake clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Support trainee pharmacists, students, and other healthcare professionals
  • Clinical pharmacy input to medicines management processes within the service
Person Specification
  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Registration with General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Evidence of and commitment to continuing professional development
  • Organisational skills

This role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression.
