**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Rheumatology service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with various rheumatic conditions.

The successful candidate will have at least 12 months experience at AFC Band 6 (or equivalent) and proven leadership and management experience. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and work within a dynamic healthcare environment.

The estimated salary for this role is around £38,890 - £44,041 per annum, depending on location and experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Rheumatology service by running nurse-led clinics, triaging concerns from patients and medical professionals, and developing professional development opportunities.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year at Band 6
  • 1st level registered nurse
  • Post-registration clinical course or qualification in specialist area that has enhanced clinical practice
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Previous experience within the Rheumatology service
