About The Role

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We're seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in the Chipping Warden Area.

As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the site survey control network, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis. You will work closely with our Senior Land Surveyor to undertake land/topographic/hydrographic/measured building surveys, utilizing a range of specialist equipment and technology.

Your expertise in data analysis using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, and GIS programs will be essential in preparing survey drawings and presenting data to clients. You will also be responsible for coordinating with Site Engineers to prioritize project implementation, changes to plans, and deviations.

Key responsibilities will include setting out and as-built surveys, carrying out topographical and engineering surveys, managing Point Cloud Data registration and post-processing, and conducting GNSS network surveying.

About You
  • HND/degree in Land Survey, Geomatics, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role with similar values.
  • Expert knowledge of Trimble total stations, levels, and GNSS receivers.
  • Excellent AutoCAD skills to produce 2D and 3D drawings.
  • Good communication and report writing skills.
  • Proficient in using survey software like Trimble Business Center.
