Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Locum Consultant Paediatrician at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust for a period of 6 months. Main Duties of the Job
The role on offer is for a 10 PA contract with potential scope for further PA's in the future subject to job planning. You will be responsible for the continuing care and treatment of patients in your charge and personal performance of clinical duties as agreed in your job plan. You will also have shared responsibility for the operational performance, clinical quality, and resource management of the service.

Job Responsibilities
- Ability to offer expert opinion & take full & independent responsibility for clinical care of patients across the wide spectrum of paediatric disorders
- Experience of & commitment to teaching undergraduates & postgraduates
- Experience of supervising F1, F2, ST trainees
- Ability to & experience of teaching clinical skills
Person Specification
- MBBS or equivalent
- Possession of MRCPCH Postgraduate Qualification or equivalent
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice at time of application
