About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Paediatrician to join our team on a locum basis. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will play a key role in shaping the future of paediatric services at Queens Hospital, Burton on Trent.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality paediatric care to patients across the full spectrum of paediatric disorders
  • Working closely with senior colleagues to develop and implement new clinical services and initiatives
  • Supervising and teaching junior medical staff, including F1, F2, and ST trainees
  • Participating in clinical audit and quality improvement activities

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • MRCPCH Postgraduate Qualification or equivalent
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice
  • Experience of supervising junior medical staff and teaching clinical skills
