Locum Consultant Paediatrician

This is an exciting opportunity to take advantage of a challenging post of Locum Consultant Paediatrician at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust for a period of 6 months.
As a key member of the paediatric team, you will work together with senior colleagues in shaping the future of paediatric services. You will have shared responsibility for the operational performance, clinical quality, and resource management of the service.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe role on offer is for an 10 PA contract with potential scope for further PA's in the future subject to job planning. It will include on-call commitment for general paediatrics and the neonatal unit, including weekends, for providing an out-of-hours emergency service, on a shared basis with other Consultants within the Department.
You will be responsible for the continuing care and treatment of patients in your charge and personal performance of clinical duties as agreed in your job plan.
