Fellowship in Advanced Colorectal Surgery

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a talented and dedicated surgeon to fill the position of Senior Clinical Fellow in Advanced Colorectal Surgery. This 12-month fellowship provides an opportunity for surgeons who have completed their training to gain extensive experience in advanced colorectal surgery, working alongside experienced consultants.

Job Overview

This non-training grade post offers a wide range of clinical opportunities in various colorectal sub-specialties, including robotic-assisted surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and TEMS procedures. The fellow will be expected to contribute to the development of the unit's clinical services and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general surgery, previous level III training in colorectal surgery, and excellent communication and leadership skills. A competitive salary package, including a basic salary of £50,000 per annum, plus benefits, is on offer to the successful candidate.
