We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Supply Desk. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both students and teachers in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver lessons across various subjects, actively engaging in the learning process.
  • Provide tailored support to students, including those with special educational needs, to aid their academic progress.
  • Lead and support small group interventions for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students.
  • Motivate and engage all students, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Manage time effectively and handle a busy schedule with initiative.
  • Exhibit patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude when facing challenges.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for helping students overcome challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Relevant qualifications in Teaching Assistance or Education.
  • HLTA qualifications preferred.
