Primary School Teaching Assistant Job Opportunity

We are working with an outstanding primary school in London who are looking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled individual to take on the role of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).

This role will involve collaborating with teachers in planning, delivering lessons and learning activities for classes across EYFS, KS1 & KS2. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a well-led primary school where their ideas will be welcome and valued.

The primary school can offer teacher training for those who are interested in developing their skills and progressing their career. This is a full-time contract with a competitive daily rate of £90-£130 per day.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and skilled individual who is able to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to deliver high-quality learning activities. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Collaborating with teachers to plan and deliver lessons and learning activities
  • Supporting pupils in their learning and development
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
