SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a highly regarded primary school in Rush Green, Barking and Dagenham. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special educational needs.
Job DescriptionThe role involves working closely with students with ASD and a range of additional needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and socially. You will assist the class teacher in delivering a differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, and use effective behavior management strategies to support students with complex needs.
Requirements- Prior experience working in an ARP setting or with SEN students in a school environment is essential.
- You should demonstrate a strong understanding of supporting children with ASD and other SEN needs.
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable individuals who can work effectively with different learning styles are preferred.
- A competitive daily rate of £85-£100.
