Teaching Specialist - SEN

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £37,500 per annum (pro-rata) based on a 20-30 hour week

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teaching specialist to join our team as a SEN Tutor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching students with SEN, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt their teaching approach to meet the needs of each student.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering one-to-one tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with SEN, developing and implementing tailored learning plans, and collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' academic and personal development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver one-to-one tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with SEN in an outreach setting.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans based on individual student needs and goals.
  • Regularly assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' academic and personal development.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with students with SEN in an outreach setting, providing tailored support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Please note that this is a part-time role involving temporary tutoring services to students with SEN in an outreach capacity. The work may require travel to different locations within the Greater London area.
