Job Overview

Falkirk Council is seeking a dedicated Reserve School Crossing Officer to provide coverage during periods of absence at designated School Crossing Points within the council area. This role involves part-time hours, primarily during school terms, from Monday to Friday.

As a Reserve School Crossing Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe crossing of children and other pedestrians at specified times. It is crucial that you possess reliable transportation and are willing to travel across the Falkirk Council Area. The ability to attend the patrol point in various weather conditions is essential, including the flexibility to respond at short notice in case of unexpected school closures.

Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain membership in the PVG scheme.
