Job Opportunity

Falkirk Council is seeking a Reserve School Crossing Patroller to cover periods of absence at School Crossing Points throughout the Falkirk Council Area when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend School Crossing Points during designated times to ensure the safe crossing of children and other members of the public.
  • Be mobile across the Falkirk Council Area and possess reliable transportation.
  • Work in all weather conditions, including attending at short notice in the event of unscheduled school closures.
  • Maintain PVG scheme membership.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including part-time and school term only.
