Selectus Total is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist / Specifications Technologist to join our team in Slough. As a Specifications Technologist/Quality Assurance professional with experience in the distribution sector, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity and legal obligations of the food supply aspects of our operation. This will involve driving continuous improvement and contributing to the development of our quality manual and other food safety documents.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with current food legislation and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with the Head of Procurement, Technical & Marketing to gather and submit data for packaging waste regulations and EPR.
- Investigating complaints and food safety close calls, and implementing effective preventive measures.
To be considered for this role, you will have a strong background in a technical and quality role within the food sector, with a minimum of 2 years' experience. A degree in Food Science and knowledge of GMP and Global Food Safety Initiatives are highly desirable.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic professional to join our team and contribute to the success of Selectus Total.
