Opportunity for a Dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is collaborating with an ambitious and forward-thinking SEND school in Mansfield to find a skilled Teaching Assistant for a long-term position. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Education and Training
  • Proven experience working with challenging behaviors and emotional disorders
  • A background in learning support assistance
  • SUCCESSFUL experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs on a one-to-one basis
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support
  • A valid driving license (preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Patience and compassion
