We are seeking a skilled Support Services Specialist to join our team at Consensus, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live fulfilling lives.
About the Service
Bromley Croft is our newly renovated supported living service consisting of 9 individual apartments with internal and external communal spaces. Our service provides a supportive and inclusive environment for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs.
Job Description
As a Support Services Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing daily care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
- Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Helping individuals to engage in leisure and social activities, promoting their physical and mental well-being
- Communicating effectively with service users, staff, and external agencies to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £19 per hour, plus benefits including Life Assurance, Wagestream, and access to an employee benefits platform. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through training and qualifications.
