Nutrition Support Specialist Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess patients and develop clinical management plans
  • Prescribe treatments and manage central venous catheters
  • Support ward nursing teams and participate in weekly multidisciplinary meetings

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC registration
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Genuine interest in parenteral nutrition/intestinal failure management with substantial relevant acute ward-based experience
  • Transferable knowledge of managing a relevant clinical caseload
  • Enthusiastic with a passion for quality improvement
