About the Role

This full-time opening requires a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program. The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating, reviewing, and screening patient/resident medical charts, developing treatment plans, and administering specialized speech tests. Additionally, they will instruct residents, families, and caregivers on safe swallowing techniques, provide diet recommendations, and modify swallowing exercises as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication and swallowing difficulties.
  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on safe swallowing techniques and modifications.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to share clinical findings and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program.
  • Valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.
