IT Support Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and possess a strong understanding of Microsoft packages. A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including Maths and English is also required.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting our staff members across multiple sites. The salary for this position is £25,000 per annum.

About Us:

  • We are one of the largest Integrated Health Boards in the UK, employing over 17,000 staff and providing over 100 specialist services.
  • Our services cover 6 hospital sites and serve over 500,000 people living in Cardiff and the Vale.
Key Responsibilities:

You will support IT issues and requests for over 15,000 staff members within Cardiff and Vale, working across multiple site locations. Please note that if you are already degree qualified, you will be ineligible to apply due to Welsh Government funding criteria on the level 2 qualification.

To succeed in this role, you will need good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team and knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
