Lead a Children and Families Team

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to lead our Children and Families Team. As a seasoned professional, you will bring valuable expertise in Child Protection and Care Proceedings, ensuring the highest standard of care for children and families.


About the Role:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Social Workers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent practice.
  • Oversee the management of complex cases, including Child Protection, Child in Need, Pre-Proceedings, and Care Proceedings.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional professionalism and integrity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, maintaining high standards of record-keeping.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience in Child Protection and Care Proceedings, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
