The Royal Society is seeking a highly skilled Historical Records Curator and Archivist to join its library team. As a key member of our curatorial team, you will be responsible for the acquisition, processing, and preservation of our vast collection of historical records.

Your primary focus will be on cataloguing and making available our rare and unique materials, including personal papers, correspondence, and other archival materials. You will work closely with other teams to develop and implement effective cataloguing strategies, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our catalogues.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service to our users, responding to their queries and providing guidance on the use of our catalogues. You will work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals and contribute to the ongoing development of our library services.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of archival principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
