Senior Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in Blackpool, providing person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, some of whom have autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respectful personal care, emotional, and practical support to service users
  • Collaborate with service users, families, and the multi-disciplinary team to maximise service user outcomes
  • Implement Creative Support principles, policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring the service meets CQC requirements
  • Supervise and support staff to best meet service user needs and preferences
  • Support service users to have the opportunity for a full and happy life, and to be safe and well

Essential Requirements: Experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities. A clean, valid driving licence and access to a car are desirable but not essential.

You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and weekends.

Benefits: Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. Benefits include a probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days' leave, and company-paid enhanced DBS.
