We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Creative Support. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing person-centered support to adults with learning disabilities, some of whom have autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.

This is a leadership role that requires a high level of expertise and experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities. You will be responsible for leading a team of staff and providing care and support to individuals at our supported living service in Blackpool.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing respectful personal care, emotional, and practical support to service users
  • Collaborating with service users, families, and the multi-disciplinary team to maximize service user outcomes
  • Implementing Creative Support principles, policies, procedures, and guidelines, and ensuring that the service fulfills CQC requirements
  • Supervising and supporting staff to best meet service user needs and preferences
  • Supporting the service user to have the opportunity for a full and happy life and to be safe and well

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and weekends. You will also be required to have a clean, valid driving license and access to a car, although this is not essential.
