About the Role

The Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse to join their Special Needs School Nursing Team.

As a member of this team, you will provide skilled evidence-based care to children within special needs school settings. You will work closely with senior special needs school nurses, education partners, and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement care plans for students.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals. You will also be responsible for training and updating education staff on health-related procedures.

A key aspect of this position is contributing to the public health agenda through Personal Health and Social Education and health promotion activities. Additionally, you will participate in safeguarding conferences, reviews, and core group meetings as required.

In exchange for your expertise and dedication, we offer an estimated salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The trust encourages flexible working patterns to promote a positive work-life balance.
