About the Opportunity

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust offers a unique opportunity to join their Special Needs School Nursing Team as a part-time school nurse. This role provides a chance to make a significant impact on the lives of children within special needs school settings.

As a member of this team, you will contribute to the public health agenda through Personal Health and Social Education and health promotion activities. You will also work closely with senior special needs school nurses, education partners, and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement care plans for students.

To succeed in this position, you must possess:

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • the ability to work independently.
  • problem-solving and decision-making skills related to clinical practice, NMC standards, and implications for practice.

We expect the annual salary for this position to be in the range of £25,000 - £35,000, based on experience. The trust promotes flexible working patterns to support employee well-being and job satisfaction.
