About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic paramedic to join our team in South Warrington Primary Care Network. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our primary care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of our on-the-day patient service
- Accurately triage, assess, and prioritize patients, including face-to-face same-day and telephone triage
- Proactively respond to referrals and provide assessment and diagnosis at first point of contact
- Undertake home visits for the practice or PCN
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and carers, and provide complex and sensitive information regarding their physical health needs

South Warrington Primary Care Network is one of five PCNs within Warrington, Cheshire. We provide primary care services to 51,763 patients across five GP practices. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our primary care services.

Requirements
- Qualified to degree/diploma level in Paramedicine or equivalent experience
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Completed two-year Consolidation of Learning period as a newly qualified paramedic
- Three years experience as a band 6 (or equivalent) paramedic
- Committed to working towards a masters level or equivalent capability in paramedic areas of practice
