About the Role

\

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of payroll data, as well as contributing to systematic checks of permanent information held electronically.

\

Key responsibilities include preparing payroll data using computerised input facilities, understanding and implementing agreements relating to pay and conditions of service, and maintaining detailed records relating to the NHS Pension Scheme, Income Tax, National Insurance, and other payments or deductions associated with payroll procedures.

\

Required skills and qualifications include 4 GCSEs grade C or above, including Maths and English, IPPM Diploma in Payroll/Pensions or equivalent relevant experience, and significant experience working as a Payroll Officer in an NHS Payroll Department.

\

The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

\
