Care Home Administrator

HICA Group is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our warm and welcoming care home, Hampden House in Harrogate. This role offers a competitive salary of £50 per hour for 30 hours per week.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, playing a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and ensuring efficient communication within the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate records on our computerised management information system, ensuring confidentiality in line with HICA policies and procedures
- Administering staff recruitment, payroll, financial systems, and associated documentation
- Managing client record files, keeping them up-to-date
- Providing general admin support to the manager, including typing correspondence, taking minutes of meetings, and handling telephone enquiries
We are looking for someone with previous experience of reception duties, a good knowledge of Microsoft applications, and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team, maintain confidentiality at all times, and represent HICA in a professional and positive manner.
