Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

An excellent, well-resourced special school in Yeovil is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support children with a range of special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a related qualification or the ability to demonstrate relevant experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Adapt lesson activities to meet the individual needs of pupils
  • Create and maintain a stimulating learning environment
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students
  • Help students develop social skills and self-regulation skills
  • Assist the teacher with classroom management
Requirements:
  • Interest in supporting children/young people
  • Right to work in the UK (Valid Visa)
  • Relevant references and DBS/police checks if necessary
  • Able to work 5 days a week (term time only) 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Five Education operates a PAYE payroll, ensuring transparency and no hidden fees. The pay rate is £12.81 an hour including holiday pay, with a potential to earn more based on experience.
