Main Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in a well-resourced special school in Yeovil. Your primary responsibilities will include adapting lesson activities to meet the individual needs of pupils, creating a stimulating learning environment, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students. You will also assist students in developing social skills and self-regulation skills, and help the teacher with classroom management.

Essential Criteria:

  • Able to work 5 days a week (term time only) 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
