Main Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to children with special educational needs in a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Adapting lesson activities to meet the individual needs of pupils
  • Creating a safe and welcoming learning space that promotes social skills and self-regulation
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students at all times
  • Assisting teachers with classroom management and supporting students with their learning
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • An interest in supporting children and young people with special needs
  • The right to work in the UK (valid visa)
  • Relevant references and DBS/police checks (if necessary)
  • Able to work 5 days a week (term time only) 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
