About the Role:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Specialist to join our Credit Solutions team at S&P Global, Inc. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for renewing and growing a book of existing RatingsDirect, RatingsXpress, and CreditPro relationships, as well as selling new Credit Solutions into greenfield C&RS clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Renew and grow a book of existing relationships with financial institutions, asset managers, and other credit market participants.
  • Sell new Credit Solutions to greenfield clients, leveraging your expertise in fixed income and credit markets.
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Adopt a structured and disciplined approach to tracking activity, pipeline accuracy, and forecasting.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Market Development, Marketing, Legal, and Client Support teams.
  • Identify and develop revenue synergy and cross-sell opportunities across the MI suite of products and solutions.

Requirements:

  • A strong commercial mindset with prior experience selling to, speaking to, or interacting with credit personas.
  • An understanding of fixed income and credit markets gained through experience at a financial institution, asset manager, or financial data/technology firm.
  • Strong communication, organization, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence in meetings, presentations, and dealing with senior executives and decision makers.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving to drive solutions that address client needs with the suite of Credit Solutions.
  • Collaboration with sales teams and other stakeholders across the C&RS business and across Market Intelligence to identify and drive synergy and cross-sell opportunities across the MI suite of products and solutions.

Language Requirements:

  • Candidates located in Amsterdam must be bilingual in Dutch and English.
  • Candidates located in Germany must be bilingual in German and English.
