Paediatric Neurology Consultant

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Neurology Consultant to join our team at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our paediatric department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with neuro-disability and neurological conditions.
">Job Summary: The successful candidate will work closely with our existing team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, provide leadership and support to junior staff, and participate in clinical governance activities to improve service quality.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care to children with neuro-disability and neurological conditions
- Lead and manage the paediatric neurology service, ensuring seamless integration with other departments
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance patient care
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
- MRCPCH or equivalent qualification
- Valid registration and license to practice with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Evidence of being on the GMC Specialist Register for Paediatrics
- Experience in paediatric neurology and epilepsy
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
