Mechanical and Electrical Systems Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Systems Coordinator to join our team at the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner West Mercia. As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for driving industry best practice across our Mechanical and Electrical estate assets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement annual 12-month PPM planners for all M&E assets across our buildings, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and health and safety processes.
- Manage contracts with service providers for M&E services, ensuring quality standards are met and budgets are adhered to.
- Produce monthly reports and data to support contract performance review meetings.
- Act as M&E technical expert for maintenance and asset management, supporting our Estates FM team, Projects team, and Corporate Asset Management team.
- Review and implement the management of Safe Systems of Work across all Mechanical and Electrical systems, including Risk and Method Statement (RaMS) permits to work.
- Qualified to degree level in mechanical, building services, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Membership of relevant professional organisations, such as CIBSE or IET.
- Working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical legislation, Building Regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Demonstrable expertise in hard Facilities Management in a multi-site environment, preferably in a blue light or commercial setting.
- Excellent knowledge of asset management and planned maintenance systems and protocols.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in multi-discipline Mechanical and Electrical systems and engineering, with 5 years in a senior role managing M&E professionals.
We offer a competitive salary range of £58,191 - £64,644 and enrollment in a local government pension scheme. The role is based at our head office in Hindlip, Worcestershire, and we expect applicants to live in or around the Worcestershire region.
