Mechanical and Electrical Systems Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Systems Coordinator to join our team at the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner West Mercia. As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for driving industry best practice across our Mechanical and Electrical estate assets, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement annual 12-month PPM planners for all M&E assets across our estate, ensuring timely and cost-effective maintenance.
- Manage contracts with service providers for M&E services, ensuring quality standards are met and budgets are adhered to.
- Produce monthly reports and data to support contract performance review meetings, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Act as M&E technical expert for maintenance and asset management, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
- Review and implement Safe Systems of Work across all Mechanical and Electrical systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Qualified to degree level in a relevant field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Membership of a relevant professional organization, such as CIBSE or IET.
- Proven expertise in hard Facilities Management, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior role managing M&E professionals.
- Excellent knowledge of asset management and planned maintenance systems and protocols.
- Ability to manage a team of M&E professionals, providing support, mentoring, and development opportunities.
We offer a competitive salary range of £58,191 - £64,644, plus enrollment in a local government pension scheme. The role is based at our head office in Hindlip, Worcestershire, and we expect applicants to live in or around the Worcestershire region.
