About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our estates team, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of plant and equipment, including electrical distribution systems, generator sets, fire alarms, and lighting within our hospitals, health centres, and clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining electrical systems, including fault finding and repair
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and testing of electrical equipment
  • Working on complex electrical circuits and mechanical plant
  • Participating in the on-call rota system and responding to out-of-hours calls

Requirements

  • City and Guilds 232 Part 2 or equivalent qualification
  • Latest edition of the IEE Regulations
  • Experience in electrical installation work and fault finding
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
