About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and diligent Maintenance Technician to join our team at Churchill Retirement Living. As a key member of our property care team, you will be responsible for providing professional and courteous maintenance services to our homeowners, ensuring their properties are well-maintained and meet our high standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a trade or trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, and decorating, and hold a basic electrical qualification. Previous experience in housebuilding or construction would be advantageous, as would a technical qualification in building, such as City & Guilds.

This is a customer-facing role, requiring excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy. You will be working independently, but as part of a wider team, and will be provided with a handheld tablet or mobile phone to assist with your diary, daily tasks, and scheduled works.

The role involves traveling within the Worcestershire and Midlands region, and you will be provided with a Company Van. Occasional visits to our Head Office in Ringwood, Hampshire, may be required.

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard of workmanship, and that our homeowners are satisfied with the service they receive.
