Role Overview
We are seeking Roadway Maintenance Technicians to join our team. The successful candidates will be part of a dedicated group responsible for various maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
As a Roadway Maintenance Technician, your duties will include:

  • Performing a range of maintenance activities such as gully emptying, winter maintenance, and street furniture repair.
  • Engaging in traffic management and responding to emergencies as required.
  • Collaborating with team members to uphold health and safety standards in the workplace.
  • Utilizing Colas equipment and ensuring all vehicles are safe and compliant before use.
  • Managing administrative tasks related to timesheet collection and resource tracking.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor that positively reflects the company’s image.
  • Participating in out-of-hours rotas for winter maintenance and emergency response.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidates will possess:

  • A full clean UK driving license; a Class C HGV with CPC is preferred.
  • Experience in roadway maintenance and relevant qualifications (e.g., VRS, TM, gully emptying).
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
