Assistant Quantity Surveyor / QS

Southampton

 

Our long-term client, a reputable construction company, is seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the South Coast area.

This role involves working between Southampton and Portsmouth areas, providing support to the Quantity Surveying team.

You will either have 1-2 years of experience in this role or be studying part-time and in your 3rd year upwards, looking for your first role in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Quantity Surveying team in managing construction projects
  • Provide support in estimating, cost control, and contract administration
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role or studying part-time in a relevant field
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
