A talented Primary Teacher with expertise in mathematics and science is required to join the team at Additional Resources Ltd., an independent therapeutic school.

This full-time, permanent role comes with a salary of up to £50,000 and a range of benefits.

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs of children, ensuring their learning experience is maximised.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment, promoting good order and discipline in line with the school's ethos and procedures.
  2. Create a secure learning space that fosters opportunities for children's growth and development.
  3. Develop and implement effective assessment strategies, monitoring progress and using it to inform instruction and support each child's development.
  4. Cultivate strong relationships between families, staff, and children, involving parents in their child's development and achievements.
  5. Participate in the school's continuous professional development, contributing to self-evaluation and improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience as a Primary Teacher, KS1 Teacher, KS2 Teacher, Early Years Teacher, Class Teacher, or similar.
  2. Ideal background in mathematics and science.
  3. Experience teaching primary curriculum or a secondary subject to children with SEMH needs.
  4. QTS with completed NQT/ECT Induction or equivalent teacher training leading to QTS.
  5. Strong academic background with a good degree in a core subject.
  6. Enhanced DBS check required.
