Facilities Operations Role at the University of Toronto

We are seeking a dedicated Residence Facilities Management Specialist to join our team at the University of Toronto Scarborough. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our student residences.

About the Role

In this role, you will oversee the implementation of minor renovations, track and monitor work order status, conduct routine building inspections, and provide exceptional customer service to our residents and stakeholders. You will also work closely with our Residence Maintenance team and Student Housing and Residence Life team to ensure a high-quality residence experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing minor renovations and managing work orders.
  • Conducting routine building inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Liaising with clients to resolve minor complaints and address issues.
What We Offer

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary range of $75,223 - $96,879 per annum, commensurate with experience. The position also offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.Minimum three years administrative experience in facilities management, student housing, residential contractor or contract cleaning environment.Customer service oriented.Strong written and oral communication skills.
