About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and caring Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our team at Nurseplus UK Ltd.

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing companionship and social interaction to help combat loneliness and isolation
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting clients with mobility issues, using equipment such as walking aids and wheelchairs
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK
  • To have at least 6 months' experience in a similar role, ideally within the UK healthcare sector
  • To hold a full UK driving license, with travel expenses reimbursed up to 45p per mile
  • To possess a good standard of English and effective communication skills
  • To undergo an enhanced DBS check, which will be refunded after a set period of work
