Job Description

This hands-on role requires you to apply your knowledge and skills across multiple engineering disciplines. You will be responsible for:

  • Installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment;
  • Fault finding, troubleshooting, and rectification of issues;
  • Planned and preventative maintenance activities;
  • Modifications and upgrades to existing equipment.

You will work alongside experienced technicians to develop expertise in areas such as electrical, electronic, and control systems; mechanical engineering principles; hydraulic and pneumatic systems; safe working practices, and maintenance procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a genuine passion for engineering and technology, good problem-solving abilities, and the motivation to work both independently and as part of a team. While previous experience is not essential, comprehensive training will be provided.

About the Apprenticeship Program

This 36-48-month program includes full-time residential (classroom) training at one of our training provider facilities, followed by day or block release training at a specialist college. Throughout the program, you will work towards an Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering (Mechatronics Maintenance).
