Meachine Learning and Maintenance Expert

As a Mechatronics Engineering Apprentice at Amazon, you will be part of our mission to provide the best customer experience. In this role, you will work on the design, development, and maintenance of our automated equipment, using your knowledge of electrical, electronic, and control systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

You will be responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment, as well as fault finding and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues. Additionally, you will participate in planned and preventative maintenance activities, as well as modifications and upgrades to existing equipment.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will work alongside experienced technicians and engineers to develop your expertise in areas such as electrical, electronic, and control systems, mechanical engineering principles, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and safe working practices and maintenance procedures.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from installation and maintenance to research and development. You will also have the chance to earn industry-recognized qualifications and gain practical, on-the-job experience.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a genuine passion for engineering and technology, good problem-solving abilities, and the motivation to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • UK national or non-UK national with the right to work in the UK
