Austin Fraser seeks an experienced Strategic Business Development Lead to join our team in East London / Essex. As a leading contractor in the commercial and aviation sectors, we provide fit out and refurbishment services with a turnover of £15M. The successful candidate will drive commercial growth by developing leads, managing CRM, and attending meet-the-buyer events.

The Strategic Business Development Lead will oversee key responsibilities, including risk management, legal processes, business development, cost value reconciliations, client audits, labour agency, fleet management, HMRC dealings, bonds and guarantees, project suitability assessment, accounts department oversight, and Procore support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks across business operations.
  2. Legal Processes: Coordinate and manage legal processes, including debt recovery adjudications.
  3. Business Development: Develop and execute business development strategies.
  4. Cost Value Recs: Reconcile costs and values.
  5. Client Audits: Represent the company at client audits.
  6. Labour Agency: Review and negotiate annual rate agreements.
  7. Fleet: Manage fleet operations.
  8. HMRC: Collaborate with the Head of Accounts on HMRC-related matters.
  9. Bonds and Guarantees: Manage bond and guarantee issuance.
  10. Project Suitability: Evaluate project feasibility.
  11. Accounts Department: Supervise accounting processes.
  12. Procore: Contribute to Procore software development.

This role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, reflecting industry standards and the location.
