Dyslexia Specialist

Veritas Education Recruitment seeks an experienced Learning Support Teacher to join our secondary school team in Orpington, London.
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, and flexible working hours.
About the Role
This is a part-time position, with a start date of January 2024. The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 qualification in Dyslexia and proven experience teaching students with dyslexia or specific learning difficulties.
The role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students, helping them unlock their potential through tailored, supportive teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach students with dyslexia or specific learning difficulties in a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the needs of students.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure consistent support for students.
Requirements
- Level 5 qualification in Dyslexia or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching students with dyslexia or specific learning difficulties.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
