Educational SEN Specialist

Job Title: Educational SEN Specialist
Location: Hackney
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Specialist to work with a student who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and requires 1:1 support in core subjects. The successful candidate will be teaching English, Maths, and Science.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience working with students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other additional needs. They will need to demonstrate a proven track record of heightening pupils' confidence, self-esteem, and love of learning.
Requirements:
- QTS or at least 1 year of experience teaching and assessing English and/or Maths and/or Science in primary and/or secondary schools;
- At least 2 years' experience working with SEN such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD, PDA, dysgraphia, and global developmental delay;
- A proven record of being able to heighten pupils' confidence, self-esteem, and love of learning;
- 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability, and honesty;
- To creatively apply differentiated techniques to planning and teaching;
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service;
- Register to work as self-employed.
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
