Physiotherapist Functional Assessor Role

Maximus is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life
  • Produce reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision

Requirements:

  • Valid HCPC registration number
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of the NHS
  • You MUST have the right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports

What We Offer:

  • £41,500 salary with the opportunity for a £1,500 additional skills allowance
  • Flexible working - full time, part time and hybrid
