Main Duties- Scrubbing for all specialities
- Running in the theatre
- Working night duties
- Responsible for the assessment of care needs, planning, delivering and evaluating a high standard of nursing/practitioner care
- Contributing to the safe and efficient running of the operating theatre department, through the acceptance of agreed additional responsibilities
- An accomplished communicator able to contribute, implement and evaluate clinical and professional standards
- Initiating and developing evidence based practice ensuring all staff are aware of current issues and changes
- Ensuring the administration and documentation of drugs is in accordance with Trust policy
